Inductees

GENERAL

The primary goal of The Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame (HOF) is to provide a common ground of recognition for past and present individuals who have made a significant athletic contribution to the Town of Enfield. Annually, a selection committee chooses nominees for the HOF, and those elected are formally honored at an induction ceremony and banquet. The HOF also recognizes certain other individuals or teams.

THE GEORGE DALY SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARD

George Daly, Jr. was our first chairperson on the HOF candidates research subcommittee. George did an outstanding job from day one in 1996. Sadly, he passed away 3 days before the first-ever induction ceremony on August 2, 1996. The Hall of Fame committee is proudly committed to honoring George’s passion by naming this award after him. Each year, his wife and family warmly bestow this award to a deserving individual/organization at the annual induction ceremony.
